Websites for plumbers and heating engineers

What a plumber website has to do
Your Gas Safe number, easy to check
Anyone doing gas work has to be on the Gas Safe Register, and careful customers check your licence number online before they let you near the boiler. We put your number and the gas work you're registered for near the top of the page. If you only do plumbing and no gas, the site says so plainly.
Emergencies kept apart from planned jobs
Someone with water coming through the ceiling has different questions to someone planning a new bathroom. We give leaks, no heating and no hot water their own section with your call-out hours and a tap-to-call button, and keep planned work on separate pages.
The areas you cover
A plumber two towns away is no use at 7am. We list the towns and postcodes you work in, and where you charge extra for travel or don't go at all, so the calls you get are ones you can take.
Boilers, servicing and landlord checks
We name the boiler makes you fit and service, and any you're an approved installer for. If you do landlord gas safety records, often called CP12s, landlords get their own short page, because the check comes round every 12 months and they tend to rebook whoever is easy to reach.

What your customers check first
Before they call, most people check three things: that you cover their area, that you're Gas Safe registered if the job involves gas, and roughly what a call-out or a service costs. Landlords also want the gas safety record back quickly, because they have to give existing tenants a copy within 28 days of the check. Photos of finished jobs and your Google reviews do the rest.

Questions plumbers ask
Can the site show my Gas Safe registration?
Yes. We show your licence number and point people to the Gas Safe Register's own engineer check, so they can confirm it themselves. If your registration covers some appliances and not others, we word your services to match.
Can customers book a boiler service online?
If you already use a booking or job management app, we link to it or embed it on the page. If you don't, we add a clear request form that asks for the boiler make, the postcode and a few days that suit, which is what you need to reply with a slot.
How do you handle out-of-hours call-outs?
We show the hours you actually answer the phone and, if you want it public, what a call-out costs outside normal hours. If you don't do nights, the site says so, which saves you the 2am calls you'd turn down anyway.
I get work from Checkatrade. Do I still need my own site?
A directory listing puts you next to every other plumber in the area. Your own site carries your Gas Safe number, your photos and your reviews with nobody else on the page, and it stays yours. You can keep both.
What does a plumber website cost, and who owns it?
Setup is from £495, then from £69 a month for hosting, security, backups, edits and a short monthly report. After the first year you can leave and keep the whole site with no exit fees. If you don't want the preview, we delete it and you owe nothing.
